Science and Society Consultation
Fri 3rd Oct 2008
IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SHARE THE VISION SCIENCE AND SOCIETY CONSULTATION
The Department for Innovation Universities and Skills, is running a consultation to get the views of scientists, media, businesses, teachers, policy makers and the wider public about key issues in the relationship between Science and Society. Among the many vital questions are how to promote greater public involvement, enjoyment and confidence in science, how to increase the number of young people taking up science as a career and how high quality engagement could be recognised and rewarded.
The consultation closes on 17 October 2008, so get your views in.
At the heart of the consultation is an interactive online 'hub' (http://interactive.dius.gov.uk/scienceandsociety/) which aims to focus debate online.
